Your role

In your role you are responsible for an accurate, complete and timely reporting of the Vrumona commercial and fiscal financial figures to the Royal Unibrew Group. You will be point of contact related to reported figures, reporting systems and purchase to pay (PtP) process for employees within Vrumona, our Shared Service Center in Vilnius Lithuania and our external auditors. You will pro-actively improve the Reporting and PtP processes, updating our financial systems and support to Vrumona / Royal Unibrew in fulfilling their tasks.

Within your role you:

Support the period end closing process of our financial systems and reporting.
Support and challenge relevant stakeholders on improvements in the Reporting-, PtP processes and systems.
Support the Tax reporting of Vrumona
Are the functional owner of some of our accounting and reporting systems which means you initiate, coordinate, test and communicate changes on these financial systems
Analyze financial data and data processing to support our team and the rest of the organization in improving and maintaining high quality financial reporting
Are responsible for qualitative good and timely specifications of our financial balance positions for our stakeholder and specifically our external auditors

Your responsibilities would include:

Preparing and post journal entries
Support preparation of the documentation for balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Contributing to the month end, quarter end and the year-end close process in timely and accurate manner
Delivering managerial reports ensuring data is complete and accurate
Cooperating with other Sub-Ledger teams (AP, AR, Cash Management) in accounts reconciliation/analyzing all General Ledger accounts
Performing financial & technical analysis of the reporting in scope with first line of commentary
Providing functional & technical support for slice & dice report functionality & analysis for reports in scope
Executing assigned managerial accounting actuals and planning tasks on time to ensure efficient service delivery
Identifying areas for improvement and recommends improvement solutions and ensuring application of process standards and procedures
Support the VAT declaration process and support with ad hoc Tax Reports
Preparation of local statutory accounts - analyze and reconcile GL tax accounts in line with local legislation
Complete Period End Close activities related to VAT accounting - VAT clearings entries
You will report to the R&A Manager. Your position is based in Bunnik.

Your profile

For this role we are looking for someone who is an experienced, independent financial, able, if required, to be a challenging business partner, with an excellent understanding of the business processes and who can also communicate well at all levels in the organization.

Also, the ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree or student of Finance or Accounting (or similar)
1-3 years of relevant professional experience
In depth knowledge on Reporting & Accounting
Advanced knowledge of systems and applications
Strong analytical skills
Attention to details and quality
Team player, good collaborative skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Right understanding of financial fundamentals and business framework
