• Gross monthly salary between EUR 3,869 and EUR 5,526 (scale 08) for a 36 hour week

Data Steward Client Data & Reference Data

Imagine that the client data  you maintain is used by almost every product system  and reporting system with the wholesale and rural domain of Rabobank and is key to manage the client relation and meet regulatory requirements

We need Data Stewards who are constantly  look for better solutions to capture and maintain customer data and  pro-actively address identified shortcomings with business representatives and data consumers.

You and your job

The work you do will impact not only your team and your internal and external stakeholders, but also the client servicing process and therefore the bank’s core business processes.

Our Data Stewards have interaction with many stakeholders to understand their needs.  Their needs are translated in business requirement to facilitate optimized workflows and minimal manual interferences based on global data standards and use of reference data . This directly impacts the way Rabobank actively serves its clients.

Practical Examples

• You will pro-actively support the business to maintain ownership of customers required  for risk assessments,  client interaction and exposure monitoring
• Together with the business you analyse and implement new functionality to process deal structures and taking specific requirement of various domain into account .
• You maintain and improve reference data sets on customer and product data used in various systems to support simplification of processes and adherence to market standards

• As a Data Steward  you ensure that Customer Data attributes required client interaction and risk assesements are up to date and validated
• Support Data Consumers of client data in their needs and translate their needs in clear processes

The Data Steward is challenging and motivation  because you have work together with  both Business and IT  stakeholders in different locations,. As Customer data is used across the bank in various domain you get a good insight in the complexity of a bank. You and your talent

• You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field and ready for a career in data;
• You have more than 3 years of relevant work experience;
• You have strong analytical skills  and not afraid to take ownership of issues;
• You are familiar with data management concepts and BCBS239 standards;
• You are comfortable working in an operational data processing environment and performing run & maintain activities;
• Have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
